Being clique is all about confidence. You don't have to criticize everyone and be mean to be liked. In fact, the people who are mean aren't liked, their feared and no one wants to be known as a bully. Here are some tips on how to be cliqueabley confident.

1) Smile. You can wear all the diamonds and jewelery in the world but the only way to truly shine is to show those pearly-whites.

2) A compliment can make someone's day. The best way to be seen as "nice" in someones mind is if you compliment them. It's a true fact that the topic humans find most interesting is themselves. Compliment someone and remain in their heads as "interesting" and "fun." Make sure your confidents seem genuine.

3) Talk about their interests. Sure you may love Americas Next Top Model but does the person your talking to? By talking about topics only you may like you can bore someone and no one wants to be seen as dull.

4) If someone bugs you, don't show it. Let's face it, we can't like everyone. Some people just don't click but ignoring or making fun of someone is the worst thing an alpha can do. People liek Massie in the Clique books because they're scared. If someone made fun of you would you like them? Don't think so! To get people to like you always act civil and kind towards them. It's no like you have to spend all day with them.

This is the "Glamour Guide." Models in magazines and celebs caught on camera walking down the street always seem to effortlessly beautiful but the truth is, glamour takes time. Not everyone can spend an hour putting on makeup each day but tiny little things you can do in preperation can really add to the glamour effect.

1) Glamour Occurs when Style meets Preperation: Not sure what this means? It's quite simple. Get your outfit ready before hand (the night before school or the day before a big date) and give it a test spin around your room. ( I do this and it's a lifesaver. Early morning tiredness is a nightmare when you're outfit planning)

2) Have a backup plan. The most annoying thing in the world is when the sunny sky clouds over and those cute shorts and flip flops you've planned to wear are useless. It's happened to everyone and its a nightmare, especially when you're short for time. That's why you should have a backup. It doesn't have to be fancy, even jeans and a shirt would be fine. Someone who's prepared for the weather can make anything look glam!

3) Wear it loud and proud. I doubt that if Gwen Stefani shrunk her shoulders and acted shy and embarassed that she could pull off the harujaku look. It just wouldn't happen. Even the most adorable outfit in the world can look bleak and dull if worn without confidence. A simple thing like pulling back your shoulders, lifting your head, and having a pleasant, confident face expression can make an outfit glamorous. If you don't look like you want to be wearing an outfit, why did you pick it in the first place?

4) Word's can Never Hurt me. Okay, that's no totally true- words do hurt, but you can't let every little comment get to you. Everyone has been through a time where a comment like "Why are you wearing THAT" or "Make another trip to the dumpster before school?" can really affect you but shrug it off and think of it as jealousy. It's YOUR outfit not theirs.

1) Test it out. Before buying perfume, spritz a sample onto your wrist and leave it on for 30 minutes. Perfumes can change scents over time so make sure it has the lasting effect that you want.

2) Make it last: How can you make a lasting impression if your scent fades after a few hours. To make your scent last use the matching body lotion under your fragrance.

3) Lock it in: Spritz perfume onto your hair to make it last longer. However, make sure you don't spray to much because your hair can look overly shiny and greasy. Create a fine mist by spritzing it into the air above your head.

4) Cover yourself. Spritz your scent into the air and walk through the fine mist. You can do this a few times depending on how strong your perfume is.

5)Dont overpower: You want to leave subtle traces behind you, not choking victims of your fragrance attack. There is such thing as too much and too much perfume can really put someone off you.

What perfume is right for me?

Everyone is different but here's some perfumes that are top of the list.

For the Designer Divas:

Juicy Couture: Eau de Parfum   It's top notes of watermelon, manderin and passion fruit with the freshness of apple and subtle hints of creme brulee and vanilla this perfume is a top scent. You can't go wrong with it's flowery, fruity, and feminine scent.

Lacoste Pink:  With it's delicious bursts of blood orange underlined by soft jasmine and violet Lacoste Pink kisses you with it's playful scent.

DKNY Be Delicious: It's light apple and flirty citru keeps you smelling NYC delicious all day.

Daisy By Marc Jacobs: This soft, youthful scent starts with fruity scents like strawberry and grapefruit with floral notes such as jasmine with a hint of vanilla and musk.

Sweet and Cheap:

Not everyone wants to dish out a $100 everytime they feel like switching perfumes. For after gym or at the beach scents you can head to your local drugstore.

Calgon Sprays:  This line of body sprays has every scent a girl could want. From orange popsicle to marshmallow all the way to tropical scents there is a scent for everyone. Perfect for gym class, at the beach, or working out.

Victoria Secret Products: For some weird and annoying reason there are no Victoria Secrets in Canada (where I live) but La Senza (our substitute) recently started stocking VC's beauty products. I have fallen in love  It's yummy Vanilla Lace perfumes to its body lotions can keep any CosmoGirl satisfied.

Body Shop: The Body shop has some amazing scents like Nectarine and Grapefruit. Check them out and you can mix and match your own scents.
